My Moms yorkie raised several baby rabbits after their Mom was killed. The dog still had pups when someone brought the baby rabbits over. She took them in and nursed them like they were hers. We have pics of them sleeping with the puppies. They were so sweet. but you should have seen her go crazy trying to watch them after they learned to jump out of the bed!
I had the opportunity to raise 3 baby rabbits after I ran over the nest with my lawnmower (no babies were hurt!)
I called animal rescue, and they told me basically that I could try, but tiny rabbits rarely make it. You have to feed every hour and they can’t get cold, etc. Luckily, we kept trying and we ended up with 3 big bunnies that kept visiting for a long time after we let them go.
It was so rewarding.
